I legitimately do believe Signora will return during Snezhnaya's patch cycle, if not after. Cuz they talked about preservation using the Cryo element iirc, and what is Signora encased in? Cryo. Maybe she'll get revived somehow, or maybe she'll be Not Signora. (Like a Signora/Rosalyne with no memories of who she once was.)
To be fair she was designed to have a a monsters model an no less as a weekly boss too. So it obviously she was going to have a design that went beyond the regular standards
And with reports and leaks of Sandrone getting a touch up…
Im sensing that we will get Signora as a playable character if possible, she just is going to be more 'simplified' into a playable version. though if thats the case, keep that Catalyst design, its really cool

Hoyo always makes npcs that are important in the story either a basic model or such a gorgeous looking man, woman that players will big for years to get them playable (understandable since im hoping as well).
Isolde from zzz is a extrem similar case where you can even find design analysis on her reddit sub about similarities or lore importance just because her design and model got so much work put into it. Her model and her guns are so high modled that she is even compareable to playable chraracterts directly. Maybe you could make a video about her too at some point?
Nah if they bring her back now I'd feel kinda bad for her, that'd be like when they undid the Thanos snap and everyone had to return to a world that went on without them and just doesnt have a place for them anymore. Also I just thought of this, please Hoyo dont bring her back as some like imperfectly ressurected monster boss that the Tsaritsa summons or something, and have Venti be there for some reason and beat her in the main story that'd be so corny.
I hate Signora and feel her victories were completely undeserved and frustrating to watch after a satisfying conclusion. Honestly as well as disliking Inazuma the entire "the fatui always come out on top" thing with the main story made me never come back outside of fandom stuff.
But the way they just killed her off is *bullshit*. I wanted to kill her MYSELF! IN A COOL BATTLE! Not let one of the worst written characters kill her!
I mean shes literally just liquid flame, not a human anymore. And when she was cut down it wasnt all blue ashes, just liquid flame. Maybe she will have another character model in my opinion
The biggest mistake was comparing this game to ZZZ. They turn npcs into playables or at least tease characters and make them playable down the line. Genshin, may do this but La seemed to have gone under the radar or something
