The fact that that zhongli isn’t a skin is a crime
Imagine the people who looked at those concepts for Mavuika's design and went: "Yeah, this is great and all, but I think it'd be better if we put her in a skin-tight black suit with a vertical zipper going all the way from her chest to her back".

Genshin have great concepts but idk which mf that roam around and change it in last minute and we ended up with mediocre design 🥀
pretty sure the Zhongli concept art is for his outfit in a collaboration with the Sanxingdui museum, not for his in-game design. when you look up the artwork for it, you can see the very clear similarities. also we got a teapot item for it for free back when it was still active.

So my silly theory about Mavuika originally didn't look like Kaveh, but the dev was like "Nah, make her more beautiful" then they proceed to slap on Kaveh's face on her and call it a day is real?! 😂
Nahida's 1st image concept totally fit her story, the tired eyes and glommy expression really fit her lore consider the elder sage imprisoned her for a long time.
