Every time I find one but missing blocks in that shape I always put mossy stone bricks. Ones like you have I remove the blocks and replace with mossy stone bricks as well. Idk why it’s like I did it once now I do it every time.
I also once “crucified” a raid captain 2 blocks below the center block and built the cross on top. Even passed by it like days later on another adventure and could still see the tip of his banner clipping through the surface. I like to think he’s still there. Hate those guys
